What are the video and camera policies for the Rose Garden and Memorial Coliseum?
The Rose Garden camera policy may change on an event by event basis, please check with the event details page for each artists’ specific camera policy.
The general Rose Garden Camera Policy is: Non-professional cameras (those without detachable lenses) are permitted in the arena for Rose Quarter concerts, as long as no flash is used. Professional photography
is prohibited. Video cameras are usually prohibited, unless prearranged before the event. If you have a digital camera, the same restrictions apply. If your digital camera has any video recording capabilities and there
is a no video recording policy at the event, your camera will not be permitted in the building. The same policy applies to digital video cameras that can take still photos. In no instance may photography interfere with access
ways, seats, aisles or other guests' enjoyment of the event. Please check the event calendar on our website in advance to check each events policy, or check the policy signs when entering the building. For camera information
for the Trail Blazers game, please check the Frequently Asked Questions page on Blazers.com.
My child is coming to an event and I want to be present without buying a ticket. What are my options?
For select Rose Quarter events, we offer a parent room. When one is offered, this information will be posted on our website on the event details page. You do not need a ticket to enter the parent room,
but will need to pay for parking if you decide to park in one of our garages for the evening. Sorry, no in and out privileges will be given once you pay for parking. Popcorn, sodas and water will be available in
the parent room. Sorry, no outside food and beverages (including water) are permitted inside the Rose Garden and Memorial Coliseum.
Please remember to write down where your child is sitting for your own information. If your child wants to meet you, they will be allowed into the parent room, but because all of our events are ticketed, you will not
be able to go to their seats. Make arrangements in advance to meet your child after the event. Parents are not allowed entry into the arena even after the event has ended. We recommend that you either meet
your child at the parent room or outside the building at one of our main entrances. We recommend using landmarks or entries to make it easy to remember for both you and your child. For example, the North Entrance is
located at Entry A-7 and is attached to the Garden Garage parking. The South Entrance is at Entry A-25 and has the Essential Forces water feature outside.
