In a little more than amonth from now, the final curtain will rise and fall, on Celine Dion's recordbreaking engagement of A NEW DAY... at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.     December 15th, 2007 marks the end of a remarkable journey of five consecutiveyears of sold-out performances, playing to nearly 3 million people.   But as this incredible journey comes to an end, a brand newadventure begins….Celine embarks on her Taking Chances World Tour with stops in Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe,before returning to the US and Canada.      

Today, Celine announcedplans for the North American leg of this tour…45 arena dates which will launchin Boston on August 12, 2008.   The tour will wind its way throughoutthe U.S. and the singer’s native Canada over the course of six months,culminating on January 30, 2009 in Ft. Lauderdale.   It promises tobe another spectacular live concert event where Celine will perform herbiggest hits, along with songs from her new English album TakingChances which will be released onNovember 13th.   The show, which is being directed by Jamie King(Madonna's Confessions World Tour, ChristinaAguilera's Back to Basics World Tour, Ricky Martin's Livin’ La Vida Loca World Tour) will accompany Celine's performances with a visualfeast of color, fashion, dance and surprise!
